About the Site

We all have stories to tell, and they are interesting.

The stories on this site are true. As true as they can be, anyway. They happened to me or someone I know, were related to me second-hand by a reliable source, or I read about them in a reliable source.

Some names are omitted or changed to protect privacy, except those names in widely-known stories about widely-known people, or those who do not care that the world know their story.

Some stories are recent, some happened long ago–though if a story is true, it is usually timeless.

  1. I enjoy your writing and am glad I found your blog……your idea of sharing stories reminds me of “Kitchen Table Wisdom” by Rachel Naomi Remen. Stories of our lives are filled with so many lessons……..I look forward to following you!

  2. Thanks for this great blog! It makes me think about our collective love of Instagram. Why is it we like photos to look old? I think it reminds us of their truth. It reminds us that one day this photo, one of thousands just taken on my iphone, will be a true story. Anyway, I digress. Your blog is awesome!
